The Teacher Training Centre of Vivekananda Educational Trust (VET) stands as a dynamic hub for professional excellence and holistic teacher development.
Guided by the timeless ideals of Swami Vivekananda — “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man” — the Centre strives to nurture teachers as facilitators, innovators, and nation builders.
Established with the vision of promoting value-based, learner-centric, and competency-driven education, the Centre serves as the academic arm of the Trust for capacity building, curriculum enhancement, and pedagogical innovation across all VET institutions.
Core Objectives
- Conduct regular in-service and pre-service training programmes.
- Facilitate curriculum innovation, effective classroom practices, and ICT integration.
- Provide mentorship and leadership development for school educators.
- Offer research, resource development, and pedagogical support to all schools under the Trust.
- Serve as a knowledge repository for training materials, lesson exemplars, and best practices.
