Outreach Programme to the Needy
Vivekananda Educational Trust proudly runs nearly 50 Samskar Kendras — an outreach initiative providing free tuition and value-based education to children from government schools in rural and underprivileged areas.
In celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Jayanthi, we identified vulnerable communities near our Vidyalayas and established these Samskar Kendras (Cultural Training Centres) as vibrant hubs for:
- Academic support and remedial education
- Promotion of rural literacy
- Teaching values, patriotism, and life skills deeply rooted in Bharatiya culture
These centres are staffed by dedicated facilitators—including parents, alumni, and social workers—who volunteer their time and undergo specialized training to nurture the students effectively.
The Trust’s Honorary Correspondents and School Management Committee Members conduct regular visits to monitor progress and uphold the quality of education and values imparted.
Through Samskar Kendra, Vivekananda Educational Trust is committed to empowering children with knowledge and virtues, helping them build a brighter, self-reliant future.
