The Family: A Child’s First School
- Kudumba Prabodhanam is a family awareness and empowerment initiative that seeks to strengthen family relationships and nurture good values, discipline, self-confidence, responsibility and social consciousness among children.
- The family plays a vital role in shaping a child’s personality. The love, behaviour, habits and values demonstrated by parents have a lasting influence on a child’s thoughts, attitudes and actions. Creating a home environment rooted in love, mutual respect, cultural awareness and moral values is therefore essential for the holistic development of every child.
- Inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, Vivekananda Educational Trust (VET) promotes the importance of family in nurturing responsible, confident and value-oriented individuals through its *Kudumba Prabodhanam* initiative.
