Mahalakshmi Ramu is a Counselling Psychologist and Project Head – Viveka at Vivekananda Educational Trust (VET), with 12 years of experience in counselling, student development, training, coaching, capacity building, and diverse professional domains. She holds an M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology from the University of Madras, along with a Vocational Diploma in Acupuncture. She is certified in PoSH Law, Fundamentals of Learning Disability, and Childhood, Adolescence & Marriage Counselling, with additional training and internship experience in the field. Her areas of expertise include student counselling, career guidance, life skills, emotional well-being, parenting support, and holistic development. Through Project Viveka, she works towards fostering positive mental health, resilience, self-awareness, healthy relationships, and help-seeking among students, mentors, parents and the wider school community at VET owned schools & managed schools.
